Jacava London | Swatches and Review

*PR Sample.

Hi loves,

Today I have 4 stunning Jacava London polishes to share with you all, these came out just this year. I also received their Top Coat with UV inhibitor which I will talk about at the end of this post.

In the new 2014 range there are 18 new colours, all Jacava London polishes are 8-Free and No Animal Testing is involved.

Lets get on with the swatches -

Oxford Street | A stunning red jelly full of silver holo hex glitters. This is a stunner beyond words - so so squishy! At first I was thinking it may need applying over a base colour but with just 3 coats I achieved this look. It is the squishiest polish I have ever worn!

--

Jet Black | As described, this is jet black - perfect one coat formula!! I am in love with this, I was just running out of my INM and this is now taking over. I just love black polish that is one coat, can not go wrong!

--

Vanilla Slice | I just love this, the colour kind of reminds me of them cream walls your house is freshly painted with before you move in. I am glad to have this, I have been searching a shade just like this in forever! Great formula, I needed just 2 coats for full coverage.

--

Dance With Me | A stunning rich wine shimmer, I fell in love with this polish, it is so beautiful! Again great formula - 2 coats.

All of these were topped with one coat of the Jacava London French Mani Top Coat With UV Inhibitor.
I was quite shocked by this topcoat, I really didn't expect much if I am honest - the results were a pleasant surprise.
The topcoat itself is has quite a thin consistency compared to SV or H K Girl which left me wondering how well it would hold up over glitter polishes. I applied it over Jet Black first and noticed it had matted the tip of my nail on some fingers, if you look closer at the pictures above you will see it. I don't know what happened there but it didn't happen on any of the other swatches.
I took the chance on touching my nail after around 1-2 minutes and it was dry - well to the point I didn't pull any polish off or even leave a fingerprint mark. I was stunned, drying time is fabulous! I would say wait 5-10 minutes fully before hitting your nails hard on anything though just in case, I didn't test that but I will update when I use it again.
Testing this topcoat over Oxford Street it worked pretty well, my nails were smooth with the odd tiny bumb from a glitter. I would personally think 2 coats over glitter would work best with this topcoat.

Overall I am very happy with all of these Jacava London polishes, the top coat is definitely one I would highly recommend to anyone along with the others too.
