Peace!!! Tiny Leopard Print

Hi loves!
I have felt so uninspired lately -.-, whenever this happens I always turn to my absolute favourite thing to do, tiny leopard print!! ;)

I have done leopard a few times, so even thinking of new ways to do it can be challenging :o!!
I thought the peace sign would be fun, I actually love the outcome of these!!

I chose to do the french tips as something extra, the ring finger I wasn't sure whether to print or not, I didn't want to overcrowd the nail to much. ;)

I used Essie Lights as my base colour, as ever the true neon refused to show on camera -.- for the rest I used Essie Good As Gold and black paint :)

I hope you are all well and enjoy my post

Deviant Potions Bubblegum Hangover; Swatches and Review

Oh my!
This beauty I am sharing with you all today has been on my swatch list for a few weeks!
My oh my, I am in love!!
Some of you may know I absolutely loveeeee white based polishes, this one has got to be in my top 3 favs, easily!
I am just .. wow!

As ever the neon did not want to show up, damn!!
Bubblegum Hangover is a white crelly polish full of tiny hot neon pink hexes, small black hexes and larger hot neon pink hexes. Yes, neon neon neon! Ahhh yum!

The neon glitters also react under black/uv light! Mwahaha, I did try and get a macro shot of my nail but my little nail light weren't having it, so have bottle macros instead ;)

How amazing is this beauty!! I mean seriously, delicious! The name is just perfect too lol!

I had no issues with this, flawless application with only 3 coats, possibly 2 on shorter nails! I did have to fish a little for some of the large hot neon pink hexes, but that was no bother to me.

Deviant Potions can be found here, for a full size 15ml bottle they are priced at $8.00.
You can find Deviant Potions on Facebook and Instagram also, to keep up to date :)

Enjoy loves,
Lou xx

Despicable Me Nail Art - easy :)

Hey all!!
I did some quick and easy nail art tonight, my topcoat has officially gone, like my last bottle has disappeared :( poor Seche!! So I had to use a different one, and it smeared my work a tad!! *criesssss!*
Hopefully I will continue nail art as much as I can but may be a swatch session instead! Unless Seche comes out of hiding hahaa!

Tonight I did Despicable Me! I've never watched this film, but by the image I copied it looks funny!! The face, just look at the face hahaa!! Good times!

I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls as the base, on my index and pinkie I topped Models Own Disco Heaven :)
I wasn't going to add the glitter but after the nail smeared, I got the arse -.-

I hope you are all doing well!! :)

Cadillacquer The Dexter Collection; Swatches and Review :)

I must start off and say sorry for the sudden disappearance, my mum had an operation on and she had no one to help look after her :( so I went over for a few days, just to make sure she had bed rest etc. :) I am back now so blogging will resume to normal :)

On to todays glorious post -
Cadillacquer has been sneak previewing her new collection the past few weeks. Its called 'The Dexter Collection' based on a TV series, of which I haven't seen before, but will definitely be looking into.
The Dexter Collection consists of 9 gorgeous polishes, 6 of those I will be sharing today :D

I shall start with the one I fell in love with, when I saw the sneak pics!

Have A Killer Day - This is a light greyish blue based polish, I didn't notice the blue tint at first until I applied it onto the nail :O! It contains gorgeous micro blue flakies, large neon pink squares, tiny matte purple hexes as well as small matte pink hexes. This is perfection!! I applied 2 coats of flawless application with no fishing required!

Up next is Slice Of Life, a gorgeous bright red jelly containing a vibrant blue shimmer that really glows as such, love! This was flawless application, only needing 2 coats :)

Wow right :O!

The shimmer completely freaked my camera so I got this gorgeous shot below -

Keep Breathing is a beautiful turquoise based polish, containing green and white flakies along with lilac and purple small hex glitters. I love the combo of this one! Again amazing application, I used 3 coats for full coverage.

He Saw, She Saw is a nude beige based polish with a gorgeous light green shimmer, along with blue iridescent hex glitter and various sized grey glitters. I used 3 coats for full opacity but 2 could be enough on shorter nails.

It's Going To Happen Again - a lovely light blue crelly based polish with turquoise shimmer, matte aqua blue and teal small squares and tiny hexes. I applied 2 coats for full opacity.

Lastly we have one that got put in a sneak peek post the other week, remember my Doctor Who nails?

Tonight's The Night is a gorgeous deep dark purple based polish with blue shimmer, tiny light blue holo hex glitter and small squares, along with small turquoise hex glitter. This took 3 coats for full opacity.

How gorgeous are all of these?! I am in love!!
Overall I can't fault them at all, I love how they all are either 2 or 3 coats which is perfect! The variety in this collection is perfect, there will be something for everyone without a doubt!

The Dexter Collection by Cadillacquer was released a few days ago on the website! They are all 15ml sized bottles priced at $12.00. They are released on Llarowe for $13.00.

I hope you all enjoy the post, a huge sorry again!!

Let me know below, what is your favourite polish from The Dexter Collection? ;)

First attempt at watercolour paints - Rose

Hi all,
I do apologise for the delay going on at the moment, I have been having some personal issues and haven't been sleeping to well either.
I am slowly getting back to daily blogging but there maybe some delays here and there.

Onto todays design, I have wanted to try out watercolours for a while now, so only did an accent nail to start off!

It is very different to acrylic paints, but I enjoyed the challenge. I may do more watercolour designs... depending if I can get good at it haha!

I wanted the rose to stand out from the other nails, so a jelly sandwich was my choice ;) I used Essie Waltz with Barry M Pink Sapphire Glitter squished between :P.
On the accent nail I used Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud.

Overall I am super happy with my first try :)
Have you tried watercolours before? Do you think they are easier than acrylic paint?

Let me know your thoughts below :)

My second horse face attempt! Youtube video

Hi loves,
Excuse the no post yesterday! I actually got to sleep early for once and had no energy to post :O sorry!
I am back today with another Youtube video, now I know how to add it to posts. Booya!

As everyone knows, my nail art can get very detailed - I haven't really put that into a video until now. Mainly because I just can't paint well on camera, getting angle right etc.
I did my best and managed to get some video together.
This is not a tutorial, I had to shorten this a lot to get it to load from my phone, it's more of a 'how I paint' video :)

And here he is, I am quite happy with the outcome! At first I was not very impressed, I think I just felt blah because I don't paint as well when videoing, but he is cute :)

For the base colour I originally had Sally Hansen Dorien Grey but decided to add Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers Confetti.

You can watch this fella come together below, please let me know your thoughts!
I am hoping to be more regular on Youtube so if you would like to subscribe click here. :)

I hope you all enjoy the little video :)

Pink and Purple Galaxy Nails - Youtube Video :)

I think I may have just worked out how to add my Youtube video here, testing!!

Today I am sharing how I done my pink and purple galaxy nails, ok so it isn't proper galaxy looking... but who wouldn't want a girly galaxy?

I done it on a fake nail because I am in the process of reviewing this 32 Nail Art Polish Display Stand, from Born Pretty Store. I am planning to have it up within the next 2 or so weeks.

Ohhh I just love the outcome of this!! I hope you all do too ;)

Colours I used were -
NYC Underground Purple as my base colour
Orly Charged Up
Sally Hansen Lively Lilac
Barry M Gelly Prickly Pear
Zoya Tobey
Tip Top Pink About Us
Barry M Strawberry

*Click the images to see them bigger :)*

If you would like to see this in action here is the video -

Please do let me know what you think below :)
I am not one for all the fancy stuff on Youtube, sorrrry :( Maybe one day I will get all the right technical equipment haha ;)

BellsKandi Thermal Polish - Swatches and Review

What! Thermal polishes.. Get on my nails!!
I may be a tad slow on the whole thermal polish but shhh, it's ok ;)!!

I have two from BellsKandi to share with you all, 1961 and Dhalia.

I shall start with 1961 first, await the awkward mini bottle posing -.-

This is a mint green crelly thermal, it changes from a milky white when warm, into a mint green when cold. I applied 2 coats over white, this polish can be opaque in 4-5 coats.

This is after dipping in cold water

A better pic at the colour change, notice the bottle change too! I managed to get into pose mode faster lol! ;)

Next up is Dhalia, I totally missed awkward mini posing with her, I just couldn't do it :O

Dhalia is a lilac purple crelly thermal that changes from milky white when warm to lilac when cold, it can also be a triple thermal if you have longer nails, that will change to light blue. Notice the pictures below.

Drippy hands ;)

I love these, I sat going 'ohhh look I am cold' :O my hubby had to touch my hand & replied 'Ohhh you actually are' LOL! What goes on in this house, rather amusing at the time :L.

You can check out these & others by BellsKandi by visiting her store here.
All polishes are priced at $8.00 and are 15ml.

For all updates you can follow BellsKandi on Instagram :)

I hope you enjoy the post, let me know your thoughts on thermal polishes below :)

Miss Mindful inspired Nail Art :)

Wow! If you follow me on Instagram, you will know I enjoy doing nail art inspired by several unique artists that I come across.
Today I chose Miss Mindful, her art is so delicate & cute!!

First I will show you the pics with Hard Candy Matte-ly In Love

Seriously is this not so cuteee!! I can not describe how amazing her sweet art is.

I chose Nail Sauce Frost My Tart as my base colour, I didn't want to do plain white. I really love how it goes so well :)
Next up is with one coat of Seche Vite.

If you want to check out Miss Mindful you can find her on Instagram :)
This is her picture that I copied :)

I hope you all enjoy this, don't forget to follow ;) You can also find me on Twitter, Facebook & Youtube under TipsandTopcoat.

Dr Who nail art and a cheeky sneak peek at Cadillacquer Tonight's The Night ;)

Ooooo did you read the header :o!
I have wanted to do another face for a while & Doctor Who it was to be!
Cadillacquer Tonight's The Night matched the colours I wanted, so you get to see a sneak before swatches & even her launch! :O
Shhhh, it's a secret ok! ;)

So the whole face thing didn't go so well but I wasn't going to paint all of it for nothing!! Lol

That blinking Tardis or whatever it is called, well I mean really?! Haha!
The only thing to love in this mani is the beauttttiful Cadillacquer!
Look at her pop in the light! Yum!

I will have all details and full swatches of Tonight's The Night, along with 5 others from Cadillacquers new Dexter Collection up in the next few days! Keep your eyes peeled for that ;)

Any Doctor Who fans? I've watched it a few times myself, left me with confusion. I am guessing its a storyline sort of?

Let me know what you think below :)
