Halloween Nail Art - Why the face?!

Hello loves,
First off I just want to say blogging maybe slow this week! I had a major break (2 actually) and my nails are literally so short - like the shortest in my blogging history!
I maybe able to still work with them but that's an if lol. Instead I have a few previews of nail art I am doing on plain nail tips - which will become available for sale very soon! Boxed ready to be displayed. An idea I've had for a while (very similar to the framed piece I done ages ago)

Anyway onto today's design :) I done this a few days back after coming across the image on google :* I had to give it a whirl.

It's a pretty simple design but so much ewwww'ness about it lol.
I used OPI Skull & Glossbones as the base colour, the rest is done using acrylic paints.

Enjoy loves,
Lou xx

INM Week* Ombre Nails

A first for the blog, I have never done this style... I may be loads behind but meh ;) I chose to do this as I had 4 pearl frosted finish polishes amongst the bundle I received from INM that so happened to sit well together! Wooo ;)

Colours used from dark to light -
Passion, 1st Kiss, Sweet Bouquet and Seduction. All great formula, each needing 2 coats :)

I admire this look, even though they might not be exactly as an ombre should be but I love it. Its so simple yet eye catching. Beautiful application from all 4 which is just amazing.

INM Week* Pon and Zi Nail Art

Woo, the creation of this nail art was hard! After matching up colours all week for different designs to squish it all into one week, I got left with 3 random colours. I weren't sure how I was going to do this until I came across a Pon and Zi picture, bammm you all know I love these funny pics!

Colours used -
Partido - This is a very pastel light blurple which shows more IRL. Gorgeous with flawless application - 2 coats.
Lilac Attack - A Lovely light plum with a shimmer shift of bright purple. (2 coats for the mountains over Partido)
It's Red-iculuos - Jelly red with fine glitter, this screams Christmas!. Opaque in 2-3 coats. (Used on the little heart)
Topped with INM Out The Door Matte.

The little writing reads -
' I went to pick you a flower, but it was a venus fly trap and it bit my head, so I killed it and got you this piece of grass instead' LOL! I just find this so funny. hahaa!
The design is done using acrylic paints and INM Glitter.

I hope you all enjoy :)

INM Week* Headless Horseman Silhouette

Yikes day 4 already? Time sure does fly :(. Today though I am sharing one of the first pieces of nail art I done using INM. I chose to do Headless Horseman as it was requested on my Instagram ;)

Colours used -
Black Hole - As I stated before, this is my ultimate black now. It works in 2 thin coats and is the perfect formula.
Acrylic paint in white and black for the design.

I used both INM Out The Door Topcoat and Out The Door Matte (shown in pic 1) which I just fricking adore!

INM Week* Summer Brights :O Leopard Print

I know its all about the dark fall colours now but a little bright won't hurt anyone will it? ;)
I love love loveee the combo for today and actually kept it on for a few days!
You all know I will include some leopard print when I get the chance ;) ha.

Colours used -
Blue Iris - A gorgeous pale but bright turquoise, so amazing! 2 flawless coats.
Unnamed Pink - OMG! I don't know how the label disappeared on this one, it either came without or just vanished. FML! :( This is the ultimate neon gorgeous pink! It took (( 2 coats to apply on the studs ))

This combo is so yummy! As stated above the studs are painted with the unnamed pink. I also used black paint for the spots.
These polishes are amazing! Seriously so good.

INM Week* Jack Skellington Nail Art

Obviously I couldn't do INM Week without some kind of Halloween nail art ;) This is a cute one though, plus I do got more coming ;);)
I saw this awesome pic of Jack Skellington as a sugar skull on a t-shirt and thought - perfect!

The colours used -
Winners Red - A classic red crème, perfect formula only needing 2 coats.
Black Hole - Standard black, this is my go-to black needing 2 thin coats.

These are gorgeous, they have flawless application and formula. I always hunt for the perfect black and white colours, this black is just amazing! & we all got to have a gorgeous red in our collection right?!

INM Week* Sunbeam Nail Art - Featured on Nail It Mag!!

Hi loves,
Today is the start of INM Week! I decided to do this because I got an awesome package and it would be easier to break it up! For today we have Sunbeam Nails - I got asked by Nail It Mag if I would like to do an How To. This was the perfect opportunity to try out some colours :)

Colours used are -
El Sol - A gorgeous yellow which sways between lemon and mango yellow, it also contains subtle golden shimmer.
Coral Cove - A yummy rich coral with a seriously gorgeous amount of golden shimmer. This is one of my favourites! * 2 coats for full coverage*
Merlot - A dreamy plum red crème, this is just beautiful. *2 coats for full coverage*

Can you catch the shimmer - Ugh, just yum!

As I stated in the beginning I did a full tutorial on this for Nail It Mag which you can see on their website here - Clicky

I am really very impressed with INM Nails, the polishes are wonderful and I had no trouble with them. I also used both their matte and normal topcoats which I love! I will talk more of them later this week. ;)

Something a little different; Halloween Zombie Gross hands!

Hi loves,
*please do not look at the pictures if you are grossed out easily*
I have a wierd style post today, it all started with me wanting to try and use home findings to create the 'false nail gross torn style' nails which went ok; I wasn't overly liking them but got good feedback.
Which led me to start working on my hand!

I love the outcome ! I have never worked on anything like this before.. Ever!! I am pretty impressed with how it turned out.
All I used was PVA Glue and cut up teabags, for the blood etc I used red, black & brown paint.

Here is a black an white shot I took once I finished the other two fingers. I love how creepy it looks. My partner actually thought something was wrong when I sent him the first picture hahaha!
As far as venturing into this kind of stuff, it won't happen. Experimenting is fun!

I hope you all enjoy,
Lou xx

ZR's Polish Ashley Collection; Swatches and Review

I am back with a gorgeous collection by ZR's Polish - this collection consists of 6 polishes ;)
This will be the first official collection Iris will be releasing. The collection is called Ashley after her daughter. Beautiful
Lets get started!

Little Dreamer is possibly my favourite of the 6! It is such a unique mint with very fine holographic glitter. I used 2 coats for my swatch but I think 3 would have been better + topcoat.

I'll Have Another is just gorgeous! I was a bit hmmm will it go well on me when I first saw it but I absolutely love this! It reminds me of the gorgeous Autumn leaves. A very fine gorgeous burnt orange glitter with fine holo also. This was fully opaque in 2 coats + topcoat Amazing formula.

See The Stars is a beautiful dark blue chrome beauty with fine holographic glitter. Amazing formula again with 2 coats + topcoat.

Wine A Little is a beautiful duochrome that shifts suttle from red to pink, also with fine holo glitter. I used 2 coats + topcoat.

Count Your Blessings is another favourite! A gorgeous lavender chrome full of fine holo glitter. I just loveeee this! I used 2 coats + topcoat, I think 3 would have been better.

Sky High is such a gorgeous blue scrummy jelly with fine holo glitter. I love this one! I used 3 coats + topcoat here.

Overall I love this collection, formula was amazing on every one an the colours are wow. Beautiful!
Ashley Collection will be available soon on ZR's Polish Website, you can keep upto date with dates via Nailalicious Instagram.

Pregnancy & Infant Awareness Nail Art

Hello loves,
I really wanted to do a mani for Pregnancy and Infant Awareness, it shares October Month just as Breast Cancer Awareness, yet isn't as well known unfortunately :(.
I haven't had to go through such heartbreak and could not begin to imagine :( My heart goes out to everyone with an angel baby.

The little poem reads -
An angel in the book of life wrote down your baby's birth, and whispered as she closed the book - too beautiful for earth.
The poem makes me teary. I didn't want to go all pink an blue instead just making the ribbon visible. It made more sense to me.

I hope you enjoy this piece, and please share your thoughts for anyone who has had this heartbreaking loss, my heart is with you all.
