Dr. Seuss Cat In The Hat :)

Hey Lovelies
Today I have some more nail art to show you all :D This time Cat In The Hat!! Who loves or loved this? I find it sooo funny when my kids watch it LOL!!

For the base colour I used Sinful Colors - Pulling Over... When I first got this (btw im currently on a collection haul for Sinful Colors polish since my US nail angel sent me some :O..  I was like 'What can I do for nail art with this colour' .. Well I really think the idea matches the polish perfectly!! Agree? :P

I loved doing this art and was rather sad to see it go. Picture memories are the best.

Nail Sauce - Space Junk

Ollllaaalaaa!
I was lucky enough to get my hands on Nail Sauce - Space Junk which is very limited edition. Thanks to my lovely nail mail buddy for getting me this. I was so darn excited due to Nail Sauce only shipping to the US at the time. Im not to sure if she is doing international yet but worth asking :)

It was so hard trying to capture how wonderful this polish is but I tried my best :).. It really is like galaxy nails just without the effort! :D
I adore this polish so much; she applied a dream.. I used 3 coats here but 2 coats would be fine.. I just neeeeded more.. you get my drift right? :P

For a jam packed glitter I had no issue's at all.. which shocked me in a good way ;)
She was rather smooth too.. I added only one coat of Seche Vite over the top and that was it. Beautiful!!

Unfortunatly as I stated Space Junk is Limited Edition and is all sold out :( but dont fear because Feliifel sell amazing polishs!
You can check her store HERE

Mickey Mouse Birthday ... :D

OMG my son turned 3 on November the 15th!!!
Why oh why does time go so fast </3 really breaks my heart. Although I love watching them grow and learn new things. I want my babies to stay babies!!!

I thought it would be a nice idea to do some art to show off his big day, I had a tough time deciding on what to do when eventually, Mickey Mouse it was! :D

For the base I used OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls, the rest is done using acrylic paint.
My son was really happy with these.. He has a huge obsession with balloons lol :)
I was half and half with the design in the end, I was half asleep and just got to the point I was like 'it'll do!' LOL

Enjoy

Pinocchio :)

Hey my gorgeous nail art beauts;
I am finally back with some Disney art today YAY!
You know we all love Disney right? Well I sure do anyway... :P

For this I chose to do Pinocchio.. I just love this film & he is just so cute.. :)

For the base of this art I used Barry M Gelly in Watermelon, topped off with Models Own Jack Frost ( Ill be reviewing the Wonderland Collection by Models Own soon). The art itself is done using acrylic paint.
After I had finished this and topcoated.. My partner decided to tell me its actually ' I wanna be a real boy' but besides that im happy with the outcome :)

What is your favourite Disney? I have to many to name LOL

Lots of love,
Lou xx

One Stroke Flowers..

This is my first ever attempt at one stroke flowers so please be nice ;)
I think I did surprisingly ok for my first try.. Its actually harder then it looks lol!!

Sorry for the only one photo, I was in such a flag with my kids and trying to sort everything I had no time to take more :(.

I used OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls & KIKO - 261, the design is done using acrylic paint.
I was quite pleased with myself on these, I usually stick to things I know to do but iv been venturing lately LOL!!

Have you tried one stroke flowers? How do you find it?

James Bond.. 007

With the release of OPI's Skyfall Collection for 007, there was a competiton going on on Instagram to mark the occasion.. I had to enter of course :P!
You had to do something James Bond themed, did not have to be Skyfall related.
I figured id try do the classic 007 stuff like the 007 logo etc....

I used OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls & black acrylic paint for this design.
I think I done ok... The ring finger OMG was the worst to do! The little James Bond was fine to do just the swirls... Never again! LOL!

Whos excited about the Skyfall Collection? Any colours your wanting?
I already own myself Man With The Golden Gun.. Was a must tbh!
Thanks to my hubby on feeding me addiction ;)
Any of your partners understanding of your addiction? Mine is.. barely ;)

Marble With Acrylic Paint...

Me and water marbling do not get along.. Iv tried and failed twice & I sure wont be trying it again.. My poor polish :(
Then I figured why not try using acrylic paint to marble instead... It worked, Ok maybe not as well as it would if it was water marble.. But its good enough for me.

The peach/orange was actually pink in reality but the camera seemed to not like me on this day lol! This is such a simple mani compared to the nail art I usually do, kind of reminds me of a wedding mani!

Overall I like this look, I may try marbling with other colours, brighter to see the effect more. We shall see... :)

Have you tried marbling with acrylic paint?

Lilo and Stitch :D

I never thought in a million years I could do this... But I tried anyway :D
Im real pleased with how this came out. I love love love Lilo and Stitch .. I mean who doesnt? :P

They are just to cute... Stitch is just damn adorable isnt he?!

For the base colour I used Zoya - Kristen, the rest of the design is done by acrylic paint :)
Im not going to lie... This is one of the more difficualt designs iv done, but totally worth it. If I could have saved them somehow I would of. It was a sad moment removing these :(
Lilo's dress should have been red with white but the red bled as I topcoated.. -.-!

Love to all; I hope your well. Do check in and let me know :)

Luminous Nail Polish Review - Born Pretty Store

Today I have an awesome polish to show you all, I was so excited to try this. Expecially as being my first glow in the dark/luminous polish!! :D
Born Pretty Store were so kind to allow me to try out this product to try out and share with you all :P

Lets start with some bottle shots shall we? ;)

I actually have no UV light which is obviously needed for this polish, long behold my dad to the rescue. He was like put it near the light bulb... It worked? LOL, certainly made me feel slightly dumb to not try it myself !! haha.

You have to wear white undies for this polish. I wore Sation - Snow White. I also used 3 coats of the Glow polish. This applied amazing! Ive never used a gel polish before so was slightly like uhmmm but it worked fine. I had this on for nearly 6 days and no chipping, slight tip wear at day 3, expected with 2 young children lol!
The glow from just using the light bulb to charge it was insane, even my dad made me paint his pinkie just to go around showing people? LOL!
What shocked me was this polish looks green.. then charged it was blue? Great surprise!

These come in a select range of colours but to buy this particular one click HERE
To visit the Born Pretty Store of which they have a tonne of amazing stuff click HERE

I also have a 10% off code for you all, just enter 'HML91' at checkout.

I hope you all have enjoyed this :)

Glitter.. Lace... Hearts.. Random?

I was having one of those lets be random days... I hope it paid off :O!
I quite liked the look I chose, it was kinda pretty.

For the base I used Wet n Wild - Fuchsia Rama.. Warning! This polish stains!!! I wore it for a day and even with a basecoat I had staining... :(
I painted the lace with acrylic paints and the glitter is Models Own - Juicy Jules, these photos do not do this polish any justice its gorgeous!!

Hooray for random days!

I Got Me Some W7 Sprinkles :)

Ohhh how the first time I saw these I knew I needed them! Ever have that urge? Yep I do alot!!! :P
I only got Salt n Pepper & Lava Flow. Mosaic didnt really take my fancy.. for now anyway ;)

First up ill show you my favourite of the 2 ..
Salt n Pepper - White based polish with small black hex glitter. I love love love this polish! I really did not want to remove this polish :O. This was 3 thin coats :)
Applied great no issues at all. Perfecto.

Next up we have Lava Flow - This is also a white based polish but this time with small red & black hex glitter. I again adore this polish, 3 coats and no issues to deal with. I really enjoy this polishs and its great to see companys bring out 'indie style' polish's expecially when getting indie polishs can be expensive for us in the UK.

Whats your thoughts on these?

Lacquerhead Polish's Swatches & Review

I have been so excited to show you all these absolute beauties I had an amazing opportunity to review for you all :D
If you are on my Instagram you would have had the opportunity at sneak peeks of these ;)

*PICTURE OVERLOAD ;)*

L-R Toy's Story, Cold Shoulder, Zombie Kisses, Golden Ticket, My Boo
*I accidently undone the bow on My Boo when I opened the package & I fail at bows :(*

Arent the bottle shots to cute?! All looking so darn pretty :)

First up we have Toy's Story - Shes described as a pink based polish with ultra fine pink & blue glitters. When I put this on I was like.. Woah! I found she had a pearlised touch to her which is gorgeous. Perfect coverage in 2 coats & a yummy amount of glitter. Although my camera didnt catch the glitters well hmmph!
Buy a full size bottle HERE or a mini HERE

Cold Shoulder - She is described as a white based with blue and black glitters of different sizes. What I got excited over was there was black squares.. I kind of was like wow that is different! Not a usual shape you find, which is great! This is my ultimate favourite of the 5, I just adore white based polish <3! Im wearing 3 coats in the photos below. Perfect application no digging for the glitters... They came out smoothly.
Buy a full size bottle HERE or a mini bottle HERE

Next we have Zombie Kisses - She is described as a red jelly based polish with black hexes, bars and fine glitter. I was abit hmmm when this arrived, in the bottle it looks more a brown then red. In for a shock I was when I applied it to my nails, it was almost a cherry red/ blood red.. no brown in sight LOL! I actually really love this one! Its amazing!! I used 3 coats for the photos below. The bars were harder to come out then the other glitters, I personally found it more exciting when a bar did come out? Am I wierd.. Yep! LOOL!
You can buy a full size bottle HERE

Golden Ticket - She is described as a mix of holographic gold bars, hexes and ultra fine gold. That description sums her up perfectly! I was completely wow'ed over by this polish. I literally was like :O! She applied a dream.. I applied 3 coats to the photos below purely because I wanted more and more of the gold goodness ;)! No digging required for this polish as like the rest. Beautiful. I popped her over black to show her better but needless to say shes going to look darn good over any colour ;)
You can buy a full size bottle HERE or a mini bottle HERE

Last but definately not least we have My Boo - She is a white based polish with fine purple glitters, orange hexes and large & small black hexes. I believe this was part of the Halloween collection so I can not find it on Lacquerhead's etsy :(. She is also one of my ultimate favourites from the 5, running alongside Cold Shoulder. She applied great, 3 coats and no digging required. Love Love Love!!

Final thought on these - I absolutly love each and every one of them! Couldnt say a bad word at all. They all applied a dream, no troubles with digging etc. Id recommend Lacquerhead Polish till my face burst. Shes amazing and her polishs are perfect.

Find Lacquerhead Polish on Facebook HERE & on Etsy HERE

I hope you all enjoyed these beauties as much as me :D
